About the Author

J. Brett Earnest

is a graduate of Mercer University with majors in Christianity and Greek; he attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. After serving as a United States Marine Corps infantryman, Brett worked for corporations in the United States and Europe where he mentored scores of young men and fathers for over twenty years. Today, he mentors dads and is an event speaker. He often teaches in-depth classes on bushcraft and land navigation.

In Sons of Men, Brett employs unflinching biblical truth, relevant accounts, and practical experience to illuminate God’s model of true fatherhood. Brett and his wife, Magdalena, are homeschoolers and homesteaders. They have two sons and live in the Southern Appalachian Mountains where they hunt, fish, trap, and garden year-round.
